“No More Treadmill Boredom” 5 Mile Interval Workout

Finals have been taking up all of my time in the past couple of days, and while I haven’t had the time to blog about my day (and you probably wouldn’t want to hear about me sitting around studying and snacking instead of eating real meals anyway), I did have the time to put together a little treadmill workout to accomplish at the gym tomorrow after my second final!

That being said.. here it is!

I find that frequently switching up the speeds and keeping the intervals short makes 5 miles fly by.

I’m off to make a little more coffee and get back at it! Let me know what you guys think of this workout and if you’d like to see more workouts like this! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated πŸ™‚

  1. Just found your blog a couple days ago and love it! Do you know about how long this interval run took you? I’m a fan of changing speeds frequently too – makes a treadmill run fly by!

    • Thank you!! I actually haven’t done it yet, but I am planning on doing it tomorrow morning, so I will let you know the official amount of time it takes then! I just like to have my workouts planned out ahead of time because I like to get in and out of the gym as fast as possible, haha. It should be right around 50 minutes though, if I had to guess πŸ™‚

  2. Definitely will be doing this later this week when I am forced to the treadmill if that horrible snowstorm comes! {I’m hoping it doesn’t…}

    Hope your finals are going well. It feels real weird to not be studying for hours on end!

    • I am only hoping that it comes because I want a white Christmas! All of this nasty grass needs to be filled up with snow, just for Christmas, then it can go away πŸ˜‰

      And thank you!! I can’t imagine not having to spend ridiculous amounts of time cramming this time of year.. but I’m sure that’s one thing you don’t miss about school!!
