Today started out a trek through the snow for an early trip to the gym!
It has been snowing nonstop, so I made sure to bundle up!!
Andy, Lily and I will be heading out on the road again around noon today, so I wanted to make sure to squeeze a quick workout in before we left!
We’re headed to Milwaukee, because my dad got me tickets to see the Milwaukee Bucks vs Miami Heat game tonight!! To say that I am a little bit excited would be the understatement of the century.
I wanted to get right into running on the treadmill, but I just wasn’t feeling it today. So I did what I usually do when I’m in a “treadmill slump”, I turned to one of my favorite walking workouts to crank out before I even attempted to run.
I chose one of my go-to walking workouts, Ashley’s Walk It Off Intermediate Treadmill Workout!
Once I got moving, I set off to complete another one of my favorite workouts, Julie’s Lazy Girl Workout. It just seemed fitting today 😉
It might say lazy girl, but don’t be fooled, it only starts slow. By the end of the workout, I was a sweaty mess! Thanks Julie!
Now it’s time for a shower before we’re off to Milwaukee!!
My half marathon training plan calls for a 6 mile long run, so I’m planning on completing the 3 remaining miles at the hotel gym today. I’ll be back with a holiday recap once we’re there!
