In Wine Heaven + Lily and the Vet

Dinner last night consisted of sole wrapped crab fillets that Andy and I got as a Christmas present from my dad this year. My dad sent us a bunch of food from Omaha Steaks, and when I saw that fish was on the menu for last night, I immediately thawed those babies out!

We enjoyed the fillets along with roasted green beans and brown rice on the side.

Delish!

Yesterday, we got a little big suprise in the mail that we had forgotten about while we were in Mexico!

I was not paid by Virgin Wines to give this review. All opinions are entirely my own.

A few weeks back, Andy and I got an ad in the mail for a company called Virgin Wines. How Virgin Wines works, in their own words:

ย “We sell hand-crafted, international wines that are anything but dull. So, no mass-produced plonk, no overpriced names โ€ฆ just the good stuff, at prices that won’t break the bank. Wines are delivered to your door, with a 100% money-back guarantee on every bottle.ย This is a delicious, hassle-free way to enjoy wine. Give it a try!” -Virgin Wines

Andy and I are big fans of red wine, so we opted in to their biggest steal, a case of 15 red wines for just $69.99! This deal saves you over $135.00! We were more than in. Hey, if I can buy more expensive wines for less money than I usually spend on my grocery-store-bought less expensive wines, all while not having to leave the house, I’m a fan!

When the package arrived last night, Andy and I were anxious to open it up and enjoy a little wine with our dinner!

Upon opening it, I discovered that I can get rewards for each person that I refer to Virgin Wines, and the people who I refer can get better deals through my referral! If any of you are interested in trying this, it’s a great deal and I would be more than willing to refer you!!

The case also comes with a description of each wine, and a rating worksheet so you can rank and review each wine and see what you like best! For a wine-o like me, this was right up my alley.

I was especially excited to give my empty wine rack a bit of a re-vamp!

Much better.

The glass of wine shown above with my dinner is the wine second from the bottom of the rack, De Loach, and we absolutely loved it! Virgin Wines is off to a great start!

Breakfast

This morning’s breakfast started off with a Fitmixer Skinny Shake, and half a grapefruit.

Perfect start to my day ๐Ÿ™‚

Now it’s time to head to the vet with Lily, as she is being spayed tomorrow! The vet has to take blood tests the day before the surgery, and it’s like she already knows..

When it comes to the vet, Lily is not a fan.

Wish us luck.

Tell Me:

1.) If you have a dog, does it love or hate the vet?

2.) What is your workout for the day?

3.) Do you have a favorite wine?

  1. That is a great deal on wine. I am such cheapo with wine, I am embarrassed to tell people what I like. ๐Ÿ™‚ I am complete a core balance workout from Best Body Bootcamp, so ready to get all sweaty.

  2. I have seen that Virgin Wines deal and I’m always curious. It seems like such a good deal, not to mention door delivery.

Ikea wine rack! I had grand plans of doing a wall in my kitchen with those, but it didn’t work out, so I returned them. Looks great!

  3. I’m a huge wino. Matt and I started making our own wine last year so we rarely buy wine from the store but this looks like a great deal!

  4. What an awesome deal! Do they do this with their red wines too? I like your wine holder! My favorite kinds are the sweet ones. I’m starting to like dryer types too like chardonnay but I generally stick to white. One day I’ll be sophisticated enough to *enjoy* reds!
